Message from Gillian:

Hi gang. Here's our blog which we will use to monitor the progress of our work on the Sherborne In Bloom competition.

There are already some impressive flowers appearing around the town and it's our job to capture these for posterity while they're at their finest.

As the season progresses (and the weather improves!) we'll be seeing the hanging baskets coming out and containers appearing and the whole town bursting into blooooom !

Each of us has a 'territory' to shoot and it will be important to monitor our progress in this time-sensitive venture.

Check back soon for more details about how we can use this blog.

Happy snapping,

g.

Sherborne In Bloom Growing For Gold Competition

About This Blog
Sherborne Bradford Abbas Camera Club are supporting 'Sherborne In Bloom 2007', our town's entry in this year's prestigous Britain In Bloom competition.

Members of the club will be roaming the town taking photographs of the gardens, containers, shops, pubs, restaurants, allotments, open spaces, private spaces - in fact, anywhere where they can find spectacular blooms!

The photographic entries will be displayed in the town in judging week (mid July).

This blog is primarily for the photographers to keep in touch with one another and to monitor progress as we shoot the town's flowers!
